Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant is a well-rounded, energetic, highly driven, agile individual who has a proactive style, places extraordinary emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy, is skilled in hospitality and relationship development, and can naturally build rapport / collaborate with others to maximize results. The Executive Assistant will provide administrative assistance to the organization’s senior leadership and marketing department.  This includes, but is not limited to, all clerical tasks, developing memos, handling information requests, preparing statistical reports, conducting research, coordinating and scheduling of activities and programs and assisting with other duties as assigned.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide an extensive variety of administrative and support functions, including scheduling, maintaining files, assembling reports/projects, distributing information, and sending and receiving correspondence
  • Coordinate logistics of special projects, tasks, calendars, meetings, travel and other activities
  • Research and compile data and other information to support business needs
  • Draft, proofread and prepare corporate documents, presentations, agendas and more
  • Possess a solid understanding of the organization’s brand, value proposition and corporate culture
  • Establish / maintain cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders, community / business partners and vendors
  • Performs related work as required

 The Executive Assistant may perform other duties as assigned in order to meet business needs.  These functions may be reassigned to other employees as part of a “Reasonable Accommodation” under the ADA.

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum of four years of professional work experience providing advanced administrative support, preferably to C-Suite leadership is required
  • Advanced knowledge of and proficiency with creating and formatting professional documents, specifically with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint with ability to learn other software
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
