After the Storm: Zurich Claims Support

In the wake of Hurricane Matthew, you and your colleagues are in our thoughts. If you and your builders risk clients were impacted by the storm, we want to share critical information that may help get you get back to normal.

Timely claims reporting to Zurich is essential. We’ve confirmed Zurich’s claims representatives are ready to service builders risk insureds that experienced property damage as a result of Hurricane Matthew. Six channels to report claims around the clock are available so policyholders can use the ones that most closely fit with the scope and locations of their operations, including the following for construction risks:

When submitting a claim, your builders risk client should be prepared to provide:

  • Policy number
  • Company name
  • Contact name
  • Contact telephone number / email address, and facsimile (if available)
  • Date of loss
  • Type of loss
  • Description of loss
