Alan Ferguson

Alan was appointed CEO of US Assure in 2025 where he provides executive leadership and strategic oversight for the company's long-term direction in builders risk and adjacent markets.

Prior to this role, Alan served as president of US Assure where he led corporate strategy and provided direction on day-to-day operational decisions. He has also held the position of chief underwriting officer, overseeing the underwriting integrity of programs administered by US Assure and the development of new products. Since joining the company in 1993, Alan has been a key contributor to the advancement of our technology platform and product portfolio. Early in his career, he even led efforts to develop and release our proprietary online policy issuance system.

Alan is a graduate of Jacksonville University. He is also recognized as a member of the United Way Tocqueville Society and an active supporter of the Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Florida.

When Alan isn't steering our mission to be the most innovative builders risk insurance provider, you'll find him enjoying time with his wife and three children, on the open seas searching for the next big catch or building cool stuff in his woodshop.
