Oh. Hey there.

It would be so great if making copies on that machine was as easy as making a copy of a builders risk policy.

Did you know you can create multiple quote iterations online? It’s available for projects valued up to $10M. Let’s talk about how to accomplish this.

All right, I’m back. Sorry, I had to finish making copies before my next training. I thought everything was going fine, but then all these warning sounds started beeping, and I may have whacked the copier with a big manual. I can’t be sure. It was all so chaotic.

Lucky for you this won’t happen when you need to modify one of your Zurich builders risk quotes online.
You probably know how this goes… After walking through your client’s project details, the coverage limits they want, and so on, you present their quote.

But then, they request with changes. “How much would the premium be with a $5000 deductible? How about the $10,000 deductible?”

Of course you don’t want to lose the original quote, so what do you do? That’s easy! Make an iteration or “copy” of the original quote that reflects the changes.

Within our online application, you will find the “Create New Iteration” button at the bottom of the issue summary page.

Select that, then create your new iteration. You can create countless iterations without altering your initial quote.

The system will save all the iterations you create and even add an extension number at the end of the work in progress quote number to distinguish between them.

So, your first iteration will be saved as Iteration 1. Then, the quote with the $5000 deductible would be Iteration 2, and so on.

And don’t forget! When your client decides on the perfect policy arrangement for them, make sure you go back into the system and issue the correct quote iteration.

Once you’ve done that, all the other iterations will be deleted. So easy without all the mess.

[Offscreen voice] “Mary, what did you do to the copier?”

Uh oh. Gotta go. ‘Til next time.
